Introducing Methods Under Test (MUTs)
We’re transitioning to a more intuitive consumption measurement: Methods Under Test (MUTs). This user-centric approach aligns perfectly with how you interact with Diffblue Cover and gives more predictability and control over your usage limits. These changes will only affect the users of Diffblue Cover Community and Developer editions.
The new usage limits for both Diffblue Community and Developer editions will be as follows:

| Community edition | 25 MUTs per month |
| Developer edition | Starts at 100 MUTs per month |
- MUTs are consumed when Diffblue Cover writes at least one new or updated test for a method you’ve selected.
- You’re charged (at maximum) once per method tested, regardless of the number of tests created.
- Incomplete tests or those matching existing ones won’t count towards your limit.
These changes do not affect customers using Diffblue Cover Teams or Enterprise editions.
New Flexible Pricing Tiers
Based on your feedback, we’re introducing three new pricing tiers for Diffblue Cover Developer edition:

| Ultra | 400 MUTs per month |
